An African Idigbo clear waxed top, Hague blue lacquered curvilinear leg in 24 carat gold gilded ferrule. Artist's paining on front panel finished in high gloss resin, rich yellow plush velvet lined interior drawer and brass framed. African Idigbo waxed in Jacobean colour on the left hand side.

Warm and strong West African Indigbo wooden top enhanced by gold plush velvet laid inside the drawer edged with solid brass reminiscent of French Royal wealth and luxury, interjected by a Tri-Colour front panel calling forth voices of French revolution. One can almost hear the motto of Liberty, Equality, Fraternity in the tumult of colours. And then Napoleon and his armies, Hague blue of the right curvilinear leg and marching along the veins in tarnished silver strip on Indigbo top. This console will compose well with a stylised interior or in a bravely modern one.
